ABSTRACT
Huang CY, Liu L, Spot recognition for single nucleotide
polymorphism microarrays.. Onl J Bioinform., 25 (1) : 60-78, 2024. We describe
automated microarray spot intensity by circular template image bipartition and
mesh algorithms. Our method automatically locates spots on an assay plate and
reports foreground and background Intensity and status which can be applied onto
plate, slide, or other container for gene-expression and single nucleotide
polymorphism genotyping image. We found 99.98% accuracy for spot detection and total
processing time generated millions of genotyping assays 12h.
Keywords: microarray, image, SNP,
genotype, spot, high throughput.
