ABSTRACT

Dowlathabad MR,  Venkata RD, Rallapalli R In silico acyl carrier protein synthetase from Treponema pallidum, Onl J Bioinform.,
25 (1) : 43-48, 2024. Experimental structure for  Holo Acyl Carrier Protein (ACP) synthetase  of  Treponema pallidum remains unknown as it cannot be grown in vitro. A 3D model and structure assessment for ACP synthetase of Treponema pallidum is described for its inhibition.  BLAST suggested structure template of Bacillus subtilis (IF80 C) was most suitable homology with sequence identity between template sequence and target protein at 40% and E-value 4.1e-14.  Image of 3D model is provided.

Key words: Trepanoma pallidum, homology,  Acyl carrier protein synthetase.
