ABSTRACT

Mani P, Gandham BS, Sasmal K, Achutharao HP, Talukder A, Stress induced Candida albicans gene combinations., Onl J Bioinform 25 (3) :172-176, 2024. Candida albicans fungal pathogen adapts to altered pH and other stresses to survive. By next generation sequencing we show how its genes are expressed under stress We performed gene discovery through 5 algorithms and 3 reference assembly on 35 Candida albicans SC5314 from previously analysed RNA-Seq data. By comparative genomics we identified 3002 conserved undiscovered genes. Using the same input RNA-Seq data, we compared genes from this analysis with published data to reveal gene enhancement in stressed Candida albicans.

Keywords: Transcriptome, Gene finding, Candida albicans.
